Nationalization, the Welfare State and Bureaucracies to control every aspect of human behavior

Do you ever wonder how this country got where it is and if we are headed in the right direction? This article from, oddly enough, the Canadian Free Press, points out the path that got us here and where we may be headed if we do not wake up.

Here is an excerpt from the article;

"Even now when banks are being nationalized and major automakers turned over to union ownership, it is mainly people over 40 who are even noticing that anything is wrong."

We (over 40) have seen it happening but, despite our protests, there has been little we could do about it, it is kind of like growing old... The social liberals have become the majority because the Republicans have moved too far left (some say to get along...I say to be PC) and there is no clear conservative party anymore. If the RNC, GOP, or a strong conservative 3rd party does not wake up to the remaining conservatives cries that we need to get back on course, back to our roots, and take our freedom back...we will be lost to the social liberals and, one very small step away from a NWO.... maybe for good.

I believe there are enough conservative constitutionalists left to gain back the White House, Congress, and the Senate but, not if we do not have someone to take the lead and I am sorry to say I really do not see the person capable of doing that at this point. There are very few Ronald Reagan's in this world and we (conservatives) sorely need one right now.

Obama is expanding Government, and spending money at an unprecedented rate, so much so that it very well may be too late to put the toothpaste back in the tube....

The First Amendment and the Citizens Grand Juries

Here are a couple of posts from my message board that may interest some of you.

Billy2

I saw enough of it... about three minutes.

The Clintons and the RNC couldn't dig enough dirt on the birth certificate....So all of you that insist on the issue have you ever pondered the thought that someone is making lots of money through donations on the subject and have much interest in keeping it going? Ho0w many times does the subject have to be thrown out before you ponder the idea that there is no merit to it?

TRUEGRIT

Billy...even you cannot believe that every case that a court found was without merit, or standing, was in fact without merit or standing. These cases have never been heard so they have not been found without merit but without standing. There is no such thing as a perfect system and without doubt, perfectly legitimate cases have been found, 'without merit' or 'without standing' by judges who allowed their personal agenda to interfere with their job.

The first amendment gives all of these cases merit, and standing Billy, this is what it says; “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances”.

The last two are particularly relevant...the right to peaceably assemble....think 'Citizens Grand Jury'....and the right to petition the government for redress of grievances....think 'indictment'.

So the people have peaceably assembled and found that there is enough evidence to indict Obama, according to the first amendment they have a right to redress by the government, but the courts are denying that redress by not even hearing a case. Tell me how is that justice, how is that even constitutional? The people have at the very least the right to a trial to see if their indictment will hold up. These indictments, like all indictments, are not findings of guilt, they are findings that there is enough evidence to go to trial.

You cannot point to a single case that has actually gone to trial and that is because if one ever does go to trial, all of Obama's records will have to be made available and we know that he does not want that to happen and is paying several law firms big bucks to keep it that way when this could be all over for less than $25 by releasing his records. No reasonable person can look at this situation and on face value see that Obama is hiding something.

A while back several active duty soldiers accused Obama of being a usurper and did so knowing they could be court marshaled. Did you or anyone ever hear that they were actually court marshaled? No? That is because if they had been court marshaled, Obama's records would have had to be made available and everyone knows he does not want that to happen.

PC, PC, PC!

I was reading an article about how the new administration has gone PC by calling terrorists, enemy combatants, etc...

I got to thinking about how much being PC can change not just an individuals way of thinking, but a nation and even the world. I decided to do some research on the topic and found a couple of very good articles covering political correctness.

The Problem with Political Correctness

Problems with Political Correctness

In my humble opinion...being PC has not been a good thing, in fact it has had a very adverse impact on this Country and I, for one, am tired of it.

ENLIGHTENED PERSPECTIVE

If you will take the time to read these. I promise you'll come away with an enlightened perspective. The subjects covered affect us all on a daily basis:

They're written by Andy Rooney, a man who has the gift of saying so much with so few words. Enjoy.......

I've learned.... That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person.

I've learned.... That when you're in love, it shows.

I've learned.... That just one person saying to me, 'You've made my day!' makes my day.

I've learned.... That having a child fall a sleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world.

I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right.

I've learned.... That you should never say no to a gift from a child.

I've learned .... That I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help him in some other way.

I've learned.... That no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with.

I've learned.... That sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.

I've learned.... That simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights when I was a child did wonders for me as an adult.

I've learned.... That life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.

I've learned.... That we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.

I've learned.... That money doesn't buy class.

I've learned.... That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.

I've learned... That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.

I've learned.... That to ignore the facts does not change the facts.

I 've learned.... That when you plan to get even with someone, you are only letting that person continue to hurt you.

I've learned.... That love, not time, heals all wounds.

I've learned.... That the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am.

I've learned.... That everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.

I've learned.... That no one is perfect until you fall in love with them.

I've learned ... That life is tough, but I'm tougher.

I've learned.... That opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.

I've learned.... That when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.

I've learned.... That I wish I could have told my Dad that I love him one more time before he passed away.

I've learned .... That one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.

I've learned.... That a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.

I've learned.... That when your newly born grandchild holds your little finger in his little fist, that you're hooked for life.

I've learned.... That everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it.

I've learned.... That the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done.

In God We Still Trust

Here is a song that I have read is banned by some radio stations, WHY! Are we still "one nation under God" or are we really trying to to rid ourselves of him? I know where I stand, do you? Do you even have an opinion?

This song has also been added to the music player.

Israel Kamakawiwo'ole

A friend of mine asked me to add some music by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole to the music player here on my blog, it is to the right near the top. I had never heard of the artist before but, after checking out his music, I was really glad he did.

If you are a lover of all kinds of music, as I am, then I can highly recommend this artist who is a one of a kind talent. Check him out for yourself by scrolling down the music player to number 67, click it, and just listen to several of his songs, it will put you in a different mood.

My New Favorite Commercial

Usually, I hate commercials...when they come on, I switch channels, or head for the kitchen or other facility. I record favorite programs anymore, just so I can skip through the commercials.

I cannot believe how over hyped the Super Bowl commercials are, and I cannot tell you how many times I have been left saying, what the...are you kidding me? Do they really think they are going to get more business from that? I actually stopped eating Snickers after their commercial, showing two guys eating a Snickers from each end, ending up...ah...kissing?

However...every once in a while, someone comes up with something that is actually worth watching. I remember as a young man, watching a Pepsi Commercial (Real player required), where a little tyke was being swarmed by a bunch of puppies, while he laughed a laugh that can only come from small children...there is something so pure about a little kids laugh...

I am sure there have been others but, that is the one I remember most until now. I have seen this new commercial only a few times (not nearly enough) and it is without doubt, my new favorite commercial. I think everyone should watch it and practice its message.

Stop Spending Our Future - The Crisis

Every time I read or see visual evidence of what's happening to America, I get a knot in my stomach, and my temperature rises. I feel like I am being drowned and there seems to be nothing I can do about it. I am not sure but, I wonder if this is what water boarding feels like, if it is...Obama and Co., seem to have no problem with it.

Where's The Receipt

Here is another thing to consider. The COLB that Obama offers as his proof (and has been deemed unreliable) just showed up without explanation. There is nothing from the State of Hawaii about Obama requesting a copy of his BC. Obama, nor the DNC has come forward with evidence of a request for the copy so where did it come from? These copies cost $10 to get, and if requested via the phone, Obama would have had to use a credit card or sent a check, or money order, yet, nothing is, or ever has been, offered as proof of even a request for the copy. Obama could have said here is a CC receipt, or a canceled check, or the remitters copy of a MO. The Obama's should have this receipt without a doubt.

This is something that could even be forged easily but not even a forged receipt of any kind has been offered.

The reason for this is that Obama's COLB is a forgery and no one even thought to forge a receipt for it from Hawaii.

Can America Afford To Defend Itself Now

With the amount of debt we are piling up, would we be able to defend ourselves, or our allies.

Pakistan is in big trouble, the Taliban is about to overrun the country and that would put their nukes in the hands of terrorists who would not hesitate to use them.

North Korea is returning toward nuclear production as is Iran.

If we cannot get more loans, it would mean printing more money and I am sure you all know what that would mean.

It is looking like our enemies have us right were they want us.
